I just wanted to 'THANK YOU' for all your hard work and committment. It has been GREAT FUN being part of the Participation Team.
I reckon that together ....a real difference has been made for Devon young people and that this is sure to continue...
I won't be going too far... I will be working with Bristol City Council as a member of their Participation Team....
Same aim...different place
I will miss you all...but I will always remember ...all the work, energy and views!!

Devon one of top turn outs in elections...
As you will see in the new UKYP magazine Devon had the third highest number of votes in its elections last year...and in terms of population was 8th...in the Country!!!
Well done to all the young people who stood, ran elections and voted and thank you to Verity and all the teachers and youth workers who made it possible for young people to have their voice heard.

DEVON ENTRY HAS BEEN SHORTLISTED! - Actions do Speak Louder!
Z writes "As some of you may know, the National Youth Agency has been running a national competition called 'Actions Speak Louder'. This competition recognises youth led projects funded by the Youth Opportunity or Capital funds during 06/07. Any project who had received awards from either fund were invited to take part. "

‘Achieve and Inspire’ – March 4th 2007
Z writes "Over 100 people attend Devon’s local celebration event, Achieve and Inspire, to recognise and celebrate projects successfully awarded grants from the Youth Opportunity or Capital fund. The event took place at Exeter Rugby Club where young people came and showcased, the difference the funds had made to them and their communities. Projects showcased were:-"
